Brief

Develop a comprehensive social media marketing campaign for A&L Taco Truck, incorporating the following components: campaign objectives, recommended social media platforms, effective strategies, competitive analysis, and a sample post.

Design Intent

The objectives of this campaign were to reach more people, create a consistent brand image, and to learn how to better engage the current audience. I curated the pitch deck to mimic the branding style chosen.

COMPETITIVE ANALYSIS

Local competitor, Mexcellente, does a great job utilizing their social media, Instagram and Facebook. Their instagram focuses on brand awareness by posting some photos of the truck and its customers. They also post fun posts that will peak the interest of people stopping by their page, like a poll about what to add to their menu. By observing what worked well for a competitor in the market, I am able to draw inspiration for my own strategy

EXAMPLE POST

A&L should create posts that invite their followers to engage with the post, whether that means commenting, sharing, or liking. This can be done by using polls, questions, invitations, and challenges. Engagement also must come from the company, so A&L should dedicate at least five minutes per day to responding to comments, mentions and DM’s so that their audience feels heard.

DOING THIS WILL INCENTIVIZE MORE ENGAGEMENT FROM NEW VIEWERS, BUT WILL ALSO KEEP THE CURRENT AUDIENCE ENGAGED.
